John Stanford is a criminal defense attorney with experience representing people in both state and federal court. He cultivated an interest in criminal defense while studying at Duke University School of Law, where he interned for multiple public defenders’ offices and participated in Duke’s Wrongful Convictions clinic.
John has practiced criminal defense in Colorado, northeastern North Carolina, and Virginia, where he’s defended the rights of hundreds of people. He now resides in the Triangle and started Stanford Law PLLC to serve clients charged with crimes throughout North Carolina.
